Designing Healthy Communities Mini Film Series Starts Thursday, 3/29

Posted by barbf on Wed, 03/21/2012 - 13:21

This mini-series consists of two films from the 2012 PBS series, "Designing Healthy Communities."  Hosted and narrated by Richard Jackson, MD, MPH, the films examine the link between our health and the way our communities — especially our suburbs — are designed. The films include inspiring American examples of communities choosing to change their built environments to make  them less auto-dependent, healthier and more inviting. http://designinghealthycommunities.org/ Short discussion follows each film. Snacks provided.  FREE.
